MEET THE TEAM

  • Gunther Rodriguez Osorio | Aqua Farm Director

    Coach Gunther began swimming at 6 years old, quickly falling in love with the sport. By 12 years old, Gunther joined the Cuban National Swim School, and became a member of the Cuban National Team at 14 years old. 


    Coach Gunther swam in the 2000 Olympic Games, multiple PanAm Games, and World Aquatics Championship; currently a Cuban National Record Holder in 2 events.


    Since Joining Enfinity in 2017, Coach Gunther has been a staple in the Triad swimming community and in Kernersville. 

  • Briley Penner | Aqua Farm Administrator

    Coach Briley began swimming at 11 years old, swimming at West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, NC before beginning his coaching career in overseas 2014 with Supra Swim Club in Uganda, East Africa.


    Coach Briley has dedicated his career to advocating for swimmers and coaches across North Carolina, serving on the Age Group and Coaches Committees with North Carolina Swimming.

Little Joeys

Parent-Assisted

Class Size: 6

Little Joeys is a parent-assisted swim lesson designed to create a positive first experience in the water for children ages 3 and under. This engaging and supportive class helps introduce foundational water safety skills through fun songs, games, and gentle instruction—all while strengthening the bond between parent and child. With a focus on comfort, trust, and early water exploration, Little Joeys lays the groundwork for a lifetime of confident swimming in a nurturing and playful environment.

pre-school (ages 3-6)

Turtles

Class Size: 4

The Turtles swim lesson level is designed for young swimmers who are ready to explore the water with growing independence. This class builds early swim skills through fun, structured activities that focus on comfort, confidence, and safety. With close instructor support, students learn to submerge, float, and glide—laying the foundation for future swimming success.

Aqua Bunnies

Otters

Swimmers strengthen their water stamina and begin mastering coordinated strokes. Students will learn to combine arm movements and kicking to swim 10 yards on both their front and back, using beginner freestyle and backstroke techniques. The level emphasizes proper body position, streamlined glides, and increased endurance with fewer breaks. Treading water is also developed further, with the goal of sustaining it for 30 seconds. By the end of this level, swimmers will be able to confidently swim longer distances and demonstrate essential safety and survival skills in the water.

youth (ages 6-12)

Orcas

Class Size: 4

The ideal starting point for older beginners who are new to swimming or still building comfort in the water. This class focuses on developing water confidence, safety skills, and foundational movements such as floating, gliding, and submersion. With an emphasis on assisted skills and recovery, swimmers gain independence and prepare for more advanced techniques in future levels.

Sea Lions

Sea Lions is designed for swimmers who are ready to move beyond assisted skills and start swimming more independently. This level focuses on building water control, body positioning, and endurance through independent floats, glides, and basic water safety skills like treading and rolling.

Dolphins

Designed to help swimmers build the endurance and technique needed for longer, more confident swims. In this stage, students refine their freestyle and backstroke form while increasing their swimming distance to 15 yards on both front and back. Lessons focus on stroke efficiency, smooth transitions between strokes, and sustained movement through the water. Treading water is developed to a full 1-minute duration, reinforcing water safety and stamina. By the end of this level, swimmers will demonstrate strong technique, increased endurance, and greater confidence in deep water.

Sharks

Sharks is designed for swimmers ready to expand their skills with a formal introduction to all four competitive strokes, basic diving techniques, and survival/resting strokes. This level emphasizes correct body mechanics, timing, and breathing patterns while building stamina and water confidence.


Swimmers will also develop stronger treading and be introduced to sitting dives, preparing them for pre-competitive swim training or advanced lessons.

Barracudas

Focused on developing strong, efficient strokes and building the endurance necessary for sustained swimming. Swimmers will refine all four competitive strokes—freestyle (with bent-arm recovery), backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly—along with sidestroke, covering distances up to 25 yards with proper technique. Lessons include advanced water skills such as kneeling dives and extended treading water for up to 2 minutes. By the end of this level, students will demonstrate mastery of multiple strokes, improved endurance, and readiness for pre-competitive or recreational swim teams. Graduation includes a final showcase swim of all skills learned.
